Hey, Flo,

Glad to hear you arrived at a working solution. Brasso is not what it was years ago when I used it the Marines to polish brass. The stuff actually eroded the brass. I bought a can at Home Depot and was disappointed in the results. All the good, brass-eating stuff has been taken out of it.

I've used Lime Away and like it. Good results. Did you use clear nail polish to seal the hinges or spray?
