jfburk, since you asked...

<<<Gee, I wonder what the bashers are going to do now, one of Tim Huff's goals to the BOD has been met.>>>

First let me say that this is good news and it should help the SP tomorrow!

The goal was-

-- 30 September 2006: GlobeTel Wireless, GlobeTel's Wireless
WiMax Division, will have at least one metropolitan network installed and operational.

We just heard-

"GlobeTel expects, in October, to begin to sign up customers and to provide those customers with access to an initial portion of the network, covering a specific geographic area. During this initial phase, GlobeTel will closely monitor the network's capacity and stability and, once satisfied, will provide customer access to additional areas of the network based upon demand."

Please note it says in "October" there will be access to only an initial portion of the network... in "October".

Don't get me wrong, any sort of success is very important at this point, but don't jump out there and say Huff met one of the BODs goals, because this PR, doesn't say that.

One thing this PR "PROVES" is that there was no reason not to put out good news "if it were true". So those of you who have been saying the tether testing for the strat is ongoing, and they speculated there was some reason not to put out the good news, are probably wrong.

Like I said, since it was supposed to happen weeks ago, and we haven't heard anything, the most logical reason is there was a problem.
