NASA SEWP

All Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense (DOD), and government contractors are able to purchase from NASA SEWP.[6] In Fiscal Year 2009, more than 70 federal agencies purchased IT solutions through the contract vehicle.[7]

Washington Technology rated NASA SEWP as one of nine contracts in the Federal Government which have "changed how the government buys technology". The article published on July 2, 2009, cited SEWP's Gold Standard in customer service and mentioned that SEWP assists industry as well as government users to ensure that the acquisition process flows smoothly.[8]

The NASA SEWP altold, is a $20 Billion Contract.

The CEO of BravaTek Dr.Thomas Cellucci PhD MBA wrote the Book (Literally) on this newer way Gov't buys Technology when he was the US Federal Government’s first ever Chief Commercialization Officer at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He wrote 8 Books while at the DHS.

Dr. Thomas Cellucci served as the US Federal Government’s first ever Chief Commercialization Officer at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the White House, working directly for President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.

There he expanded the role of public-private partnerships within government and increased opportunities for cooperative research and development activities in support across government.

As Chief Commercialization Officer, Dr. Cellucci was responsible for initiatives that identified, evaluated and commercialized technology for the specific goal of rapidly developing and deploying products and services that meet the specific operational requirements of DHS’s operating components, first responders and critical infrastructure/key resources owners and operators.
