Interesting reply I just got from the executive director of Star Park. Again this raises a red flag. I was wondering why my drive by visits of Star Park over the last few months have resulted in very little to no cars in the parking lot. Well sounds like there is no long term lease with QMC so now I am left wondering.......
Below is the reply:
"Clois "Bert" Powell of the Advanced Polymers and Nanomaterials Lab forwarded your inquiry to me. By way of introduction, my name is Stephen Frayser and I am the Executive Director of the Science Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Park.
Our technology business incubator, STAR One, largely provides dedicated office and laboratory space to companies engaged in the commercialization of proprietary products, process or services. Our current space is dedicated to supporting firms broadly engaged in materials and life sciences. None of the firms are here under long term leases.
I would encourage you to visit our website for additional information and to feel free to contact me directly for additional information.
Sincerely,
Steve
