IMHO, we are being overly optimistic in hoping that the iphone launch event will somehow benefit us. I agree with Goatyak (https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=134184370). Apple isn't going to mention liquidmetal even if the iphone uses bulk metallic glass - just like they don't mention who manufactures their chips, cameras, etc. We won't know if the iphone uses BMG until there is a tear down followed with a careful metallurgical examination of components. Further, even if Apple does use BMG, we won't know the source other than it didn't come from LQMT at LF. At this time, LQMT is incapable of meeting the demand from Apple. Assuming that Eontec is the source, which we won't know for some time (probably after Eontec announces its earning statement and we see revenue from a large but otherwise secret contract), we won't know what percentage, if any, LQMT may receive for at least six months.

However, if Apple uses BMG, LQMT will benefit, even if only indirectly, by Apple's adoption of the new technology. Other companies, especially those on the fence, will take notice.

Rather than the Apple iphone launch, I think we are much more likely to hear good news at the open house.
