Lake Forest has never been a major manufacturing hub and the market for LQMT goes far beyond SOCAL. California is not a place where traditional manufacturers and potential utilizers of LQMT gravitate to. Just witness all the industry which has PULLED OUT of SOCAL, including major foreign investors like HONDA, TOYOTA, and almost any other major industrial group.

N/W Lake Forest is slowly turning into a major manufacturing hub. Not to mention, Liquidmetal just moved there, right after our buddies over at Applied Medical built a state of the art "manufacturing" facility, literally across the street from Liquidmetal.

I agree that there are specific industries that have left Southern California. However, South Orange County is a major hub for Medical Device companies. And users of Liquidmetal need not gravitate to Southern California, they are already here.

Johnson & Johnson built two brand new facilities in South Orange County this year alone.

Applied Medical is not only the largest employer in South Orange County but it is a fact that the company sells the largest percentage of disposable laparoscopic devices world wide. Rumor also has it that Applied Medical has been working with Liquidmetal on R&D for over 5 years now. Love the word disposable...

I'm sure we can all agree that one of Liquidmetal's greatest uses at this stage of development will be medical devices and there are just a couple (lots of sarcasm) of Medical Devise Companies in South Orange County. Applied Medical basically owns the city of RSM and now they're moving into Foothill Ranch/Lake Forest because there's no room left for them to build in RSM.
