A clean safety profile or even relatively clean profile on the combo trial could (would) open up "leap frog" use of the combo in newly diagnosed GBM. I think that is at least part of the intent of the combo trial with more risk of ASE here. If ASE's were to occur my guess is they would be seen relatively quickly and it would be best to have phase III L across a finish line in some fashion IMO.

I'm here primarily for the pop-up ads I'm just that impulsive.
(Thankfully there are no such ads on the moderator screen)
