My thoughts on why ZN is and always has been a perfect target for a bear trap setup. First off, understand that ZN actually trades very thinly. The market makers have their way pushing ZN's value around at will - made possible because most holders of ZN stock are long term holders and not active traders but conservative Bible faith based holders that have a long term vision.

Illusion of volume. ZN's volume is 95% fake sales aka machine generated market maker computers buying and selling to each other. Think about it - what Bible, faith based investor would be selling their shares of ZN while they are actively drilling after 3 years of waiting? Very few - and to the contrary - they are likely adding to their positions in small purchases based upon optimism. ZN has very little institutional support (because its a crazy bet without faith - and looking at the fundamentals is even more scary as they are extremely overvalued EVEN as a wildcat drilling operation!)

Because ZN trades so thinly and has so many long term faith based investors - this plays into the bear trap setup perfectly. Even purely speculative rumors of a possible early drilling discovery would send ZN's price to the moon. A large manipulative conspiring hedge fund could and should be considering BURNING the retail shorts forcing a major covering bear trap spike higher in value. The manipulative market makers are likely even intentionally planning to fleece the current ZN long term holders who would add to the short cover bear trap by buying even more into the ZN excitement by word of mouth to friends and family (don't want to miss out....)

A little rumor and well-timed press release/coverage will add rocket fuel to a bear trap run.

Why not? tick-tock, tick-tock....
