But can you explain why the short interest seems to have gone up (based on hard o borrow more expensive interest rate) even though we just went through a very clear covering opportunity? Should be less expensive in my opinion now... What am I missing? Also, how long does one typically have to carry a short position? Any time constraints barring a margin call should it going the wrong direction? Thanks in advance guys.
