If the cost to borrow shares to short keeps going up like 125% interest rate up from 90% interest rate a month ago, does that mean that the shorts sellers are worried and should fret about covering or is this a positive for them as it seems even more people think it's a good idea to short and are eager to get in on the short selling and willing to pay more to borrow shares to do so? I've never been able to make sense of the short percentage being a reliable indicator- it always seems to be a fake number mumbo jumbo with no bearing on the future price. Any help is appreciated thanks in advance
