My dad played in the Minors and sometimes I mention that he played professional baseball. However, I immediately explain in the next sentence that it was the Minors. It is wrong to leave out that clarification.

But who cares. Playing baseball prepares you in life for.... playing softball with a keg of beer. Many athletes are terrible businessmen. Playing baseball shouldn't be on the guys professional CV. That's just BS to even mention it. That won't help him sell the ActiPatch.

Here's the only piece of non-hype I found in that PR, and I find it quite interesting:

additional modest funding is needed for advertising and working capital...

Now what does THAT mean? Mr. President, you slipped THAT one through with sleight-of-hand. Let's talk about this "modest funding."

Also, they list the Oxford back pain study twice, once with 40 and once with 60 enrollment.... why is there only ONE study on clinicaltrials.gov with 30 enrollment -- the one they STILL have not finished enrolling after how many months?

And why no mention of the SEC case?

Answer to all of my objections: it's just another fluff press release. Yay, some new guy is going to put lipstick on the pig -- hope that professional baseball experience gives him a steady hand with a lipstick tube.
