It always struck me how we could do a 12 week trial for Rett and PD. I wonder if part of the master plan was predicated on this (FDARA) passing and having the weight of caregivers/patients input being such a huge factor on the approval process.

It must be a factor! Therefore it's brilliant!! The "gamble" will pay off. I was one of the complainers on why is it taking so long to start the trials? If we started back then, we most likely couldn't change the protocol and thus would need to experience a long and drawn out trial.

Is this why the AD trial is so long? It is being held to the old rules and this why the Phase 2/3 trial is a lot longer than 12 weeks? Perhaps, once we get results from Rett and PD (and MS) Missling will use their results and the AD phase 2/3 early results to push AD over the line? It seems like everything is changing for better.

The curtain will soon be drawn and the audience will gasp for air!!
