As part of my continuing conversation with myself, since no one seems to interact much on this board anymore except to snipe, manipulate, or go on repetitive rants, I'll just offer up my all too likely mistaken or misguided take on the current market. Nobody is reading this anyway so what the... f, I mean "heck".

Have fun reading my run-on sentences and parenthetical thinking. I'm just like that.

Here goes;

Market overbought imo on big caps, (actually only several huge companies dominate), but where else to go, so everyone keeps buying them, mutual funds have loaded up - it feels safer than gambling on lesser companies, value stocks, etc., but could lead to a major correction. Computers making most of the decisions now and leading to less daily volotility may leave us with a sudden market flop in my opinion. It may not be far off... or it may have even started - or not... We are clearly in uncharted territory with an unstable, ah... (cough...),... national situation... Evidence shows big money moving to the perceived safe havens of gold and other metals.

Stuck in IDCC as it steeply slides, I am gently, (but continually), beating myself up for not selling more of it earlier. I will likely stick with it hoping for the next big news, (after all, we've seen this before, haven't we?), but wondering if I should move to cash with the rest of my portfolio during this uncertain time.

Just musing and undoubtedly over thinking and wrong headed. I'm sure one of our self appointed heroes of the market that have posted thousands of times could set me straight. And if it is one of the very few left here that have a fair share of humility and posted their thoughts with backed with facts and good intentions, I would be pleased to listen. But there isn't much back and forth polite conversation on this board anymore, much like our country as a whole, I think, and with a silent company like IDCC no clues are forthcoming.

And no bird is going to crap a good omen or signal to buy or sell on my windshield any time soon.
