I've commented on what I thought was bad behavior by adblock which started allowing certain 'paid' advertising through their filters and called it 'non threatening or non obtrusive or some other nonsense. That to me was the deal breaker and I use ublock. So far I haven't seen ublock saying they're allowing paid advertising through their filters.

By the way, adblock later installed a feature where you can allegedly stop adblock from allowing paid ads through. However, deeper in the disclaimers, adblock says this doesn't stop all 'allowed' content.
