I think you are right about peeps waiting to see those convertible notes paid off. We know they will be with the cash received from the pepper harvest.

Some of the sell-off today could be from the quantity of the harvest being just a tad bit lighter than expected. (up to 3000 tons expected now vs. 3,000-3,600 tons from signed contract. But total dollars brought in from harvest will still be as anticipated as Jan stated the selling price of the peppers now are higher than expected. (contract ammendment was made) And much was learned from this first crop and process improvements are in place to possibly double the yield per acre for next year as well as adding a winter crop to the rotation. (plus adding the additional acreage) Very exciting times at the farm as well as at the ocean-side development (CieloMar)! IMHO
