Agreed. However the aspect of medical marijuana being measured and quantified the way they are trying to is unique and holds true value to the healthcare industry. The MYDX is a tool to jump start the process.
A cheaper product needs to be made available, the free app is a good start but is not popular enough bc of the cost of the product. If they built a smelling device that could use the processing power of the smartphone to analyze and match data on their cloud servers, they could reduce the cost of the product to under 150 or maybe even 100. No Bluetooth, no battery or internal power... you would have to pump it or something, but this cheaper alternative could make this thing get a lot more popular... regardless of accuracy level. Which has improved since the larger push to more labs.
