AV1177 Could you post your views following no stop at Interim 2 .

Do any of JL's arguments for a 30% RRR and P value of .001 for PE ,have merit ?

What are your expectations now ?

I'm very busy and don't have much time.

Everyone's views have merit.

I will remind everyone that Jupiter continued after crossing the boundary, as did Paradigm-HF as well as Sprint.

For Paradigm-HF they note:
"The difference in favor of LCZ696 was seen early in the trial and at each interim analysis. "
They only stopped when CVDeaths passed 0.001
And at that point the primary was 10^-7

Paradigm-HF also had a SPA and they knew what they needed to show for the label.

Of course, w/o a futility analysis at the interims, for all we know the HR is 1.0 and they are continuing just to put the Omega 3 issue to rest once and for all.

Bottom line, the continue was not a surprise for me. I was, of course, hoping for a stop. But it doesn't shake my hope for a strongly positive final outcome.

Gotta run. Just bought a new Hobie cat (18 ft w/wings and Cat Fever sails). My big dilemma is where to dock it at my camp and what to do with my Hobie 16.
