Considering the question and theory hinges completely on your interpretation of the cancelled name change as a lie rather than a business decision, I don't think there is a "right" answer. It comes down to this, if you see it as a lie, you should not invest in this stock, period. If you see it as a business decision, then it's a non issue.

Two different takes on the same event. My money is literally on it being the right decision. If I felt otherwise, I wouldn't even waste my time discussing it, I'd sell my shares and move on.
