Yes that is the problem all the beta tests, field tests, demos and pipeline line of over 20+ potential clients all failed at making a single real sale. I think you got it! Over 17 years and still no commercialized product

Do you understand these were not standard beta tests that follow alpha testing before a product is launched to workout all the bugs. Clients do not pay license fees for beta versions of products. These were more like field test and demos in order to make sales! Read Bruce's own words in each PR where he states and makes reference that the purpose of these installations were being made to develop a rollout plan for the product throughout the tester's organization.

Validian’s OEM Customer has deployed the Beta to an initial number of end users during this month and have a growing list of customer orders and prospects in their sales pipeline. Roll out will continue through this quarter onwards with a global launch scheduled for Q2 2016.

Validian is currently undertaking an ongoing series of live demonstrations to meet increased interest and inquiries seen as a result of recently publicized cyber attacks, and is scheduling the next set of installations to be implemented in the current quarter. These installations will provide Validian’s prospective customers and channel partners with an opportunity to evaluate and validate its next generation cyber security technology and to develop a plan for roll out through their respective organizations.

The funds received have been recorded by Validian as deferred revenue and will be booked as revenue upon delivery and acceptance testing of the initial installation of Validian Protect by this IT firm. Delivery is expected in Q1 2011.

Validian management estimates this sale will provide much of the revenue for its 2011 annual cash flow breakeven of $700,000. Validian’s investors are supporting Validian to increase expenses to achieve expected revenue growth from opportunities currently in the Validian Sales Opportunities pipeline.

Validian currently is scheduling to undertake a series of 10 installations of its Validian Core Technology Platform (CTP 2.1) in both North America and Europe. This series of installations is expected to commence in late October and continue through the remainder of 2013. These installations will provide Validian's customers and channel partners the opportunity to evaluate and validate Validian's technology and to develop a plan for roll out through their respective organizations[/quote]

These are just a few examples.
