Musing while on the bench for a week:

1) Dr. Mac’s presentation was moved back a day from the normal Tuesday Rotary luncheon to Wednesday. Anticipated more time for Anavex to reveal new info and allow him to address, especially as Hawthorn (with its 63,000+ members) had invited members from other Rotary clubs to attend. Alas, no published revelations from Dr. Mac’s talk regardless of all the preliminary fanfare … unless, everyone was sworn to secrecy … ;)

2) Why did Anavex wait until July 28 (Day 1 of 43) to pay the Plus Patent fee? Why wait? Poster (Ziggy?) states it takes 43 days to number, issue and receive into Anavex’s possession. So, Anavex will receive Plus Patent notice on Friday, September 8th, right before the CNS conference. What is Biogen doing at this conference?

3) Trial commencement silence as new FDA regs are forthcoming in September … are these the regs that state if a drug is safe, it may be offered to the public as a prescription drug (efficacy to be established later) based on Cures Act, Dr. Gottlieb’s view, etc.? Is this why 18 month data was not released, awaiting for the new regs and subsequent announcements?

4) SP in September might be in for a wild ride!!
