I hate FB for that and several reasons and have deleted my account more than two years ago, but every time I mistakenly click on some link in an Ihub or Twitter post that turns out to be a FB link my box fills up with all the accumulated messages and notices. I guess that automatically activates everything again like they assume "see, we knew you couldn't do without us"!
