CuriousWon, Just wondering how much liquidity you have experienced using the exchanges and wallet approach? Have you done much active trading with these cryptos, or are you basically buy/hold for now? Thanks.

I doubt that mainstream investors will ever go big into the exchanges or wallets, and for now will just use GBTC. That's one reason why there could still be huge upside, since there will be a big delay before the average Joe Sixpack investor can easily get on board.

Once Bitcoin is in the news every day and everyone is talking about it at the office water cooler, then the top will be near. That's how it was in the late 1990s - everyone and their brother was talking about their tech stocks at work, taxi drivers were bragging about their triple in Cisco, etc. When the girls in the office joined in, that's when I knew the top was getting close. Barbara Streisand's announcement that she was trading tech stocks was the signal to start lightening up.

Cryptos seem to be a long way from that, although the surge of initial coin offerings/ICOs does indicate a frothy stage. Will be interesting to see how this all goes.
