Congrats on finally getting the position to match the title. 
We are experiencing the same problems with the youngin's. I can say that it's not all age oriented. My 20 year old daughter takes as many hours as they will give her, and she is trying her hardest to get on full time. She works a full time schedule now, the cheap bostages she works for won't give her benefits. My 22 year old son is the same. Works crazy hours, makes half way decent money, gets no vacation and benefits. Why would a young person try? The only people I see making any money are the rich cats on top.
