I to am in the IT industry. specifically the financial sector.

multiple companies working on closing government and IT industry contracts.

Have you done any DD on what it takes for a software vendor, or manufacturer to do business with the US govt?

They need to be on US general services approves software manufacturers listing. Which SFOR is NOT,

Not to mention, Risk assessments, Vendor reviews, financial reviews, source code escrows, etc... etc...

And to even be eligible to business in any fashion have an active SAM registration. Which SFOR does not.

These two requirements to do business with the federal govt, and the strict "vendor reviews" which one can google to see how deficient sfor would be, coupled with the fact that SFOR itself has never said it was in process of doing business with the govt. Leads me to the rock solid conclusion that until sfor updates it's registration, and obtains USGS man listing status they are in fact not eligible in any capacity to do business with the govt.

all the DD to what I have said can be found
here

The only DD to say otherwise are posters with "govt contracts" imminent posts, and cool pictures of icebergs with the DOD at the bottom. I would welcome any DD to prove me wrong.
