...1) so Joe Investor must have a Mr. Dumas-like resume to have a salient and credible opinion...
...2) missed deadlines by GTE is certainly not a Q2 2006 phenomenon...in addition, you almost lead one to believe that this company is some revenue generating, profit-making machine, a la BSC, XOM or UNH...give me a break...they need some UNH to help them get a blood (cash) infusion...
...3) "quit complaining until you really have something to complain about."...how long have YOU been holding GTE?...tell the board that YOU'VE found nothing to complain about...
...4) and, finally, jf's standard line to anyone he disagrees with or who has something negative to say about GTE : "Tell us why you are really here because it is obvious that you arent going to change my mind or anyone else with any business sense nor apparently are we going to change yours or whoever it is you are working for."...as predictable as another 20% weekly sp loss for GTE...
...5)...many other LONGS HAVE complained recently...perhaps you should clear your "iggy" list...
...IMO, no long should be sitting around idly as this company's SP has been driven into the ground...a lack of management credibility and an apparent inability to execute a coherent business plan will get you to where you currently stand...Duke...
