In attempting to understand the lack of any presence at AAIC, I have convinced myself of the following:

1) If results had turned south in the Australian trial, lawyers would have demanded the results be revealed as they would not want Anavex or themselves being sued for lack of disclosure of a material event, anything less would cause them and the accountants to resign which would trigger an SEC filing (which has not occurred);

2) If results were middling, it would be best to disclose that now @ AAIC to avoid a 1) occurrence of lawsuits; or,

3) If results were continuing to improve and improve some more in this trial/new trial and, in the Biogen testing, results are noteworthy, it might be beneficial for Anavex to remain silent and wait to disclose such results with a third party in hand and that third party is there to declare, "We believe in 2-73!" ... especially if it were a government agency, such as the FDA or the Australian Health Ministry. Timeline not established as of yet ... might hear of it in next week's 3Q report

Considering the downside for third parties of 1) and 2) if there is no disclosure, which we haven't had, I think 3) is the more likely reality we are facing.
