We all have access to the same info. My thoughts:

Was that 1.7 million for China "deals" invested in, or out, of the business?

IMO...neither. Given the size of the business, I find it hard to believe that $1.7m in cash changed hands. The Ks/Qs show that the "deal" required monthly payments, and the entire agreement didn't last long enough for those to be made. They also showed a derivative aspect to the payments, so my gut feel is that little/no cash changed hands, but unravelling the agreement involved some of the dilution that we saw 6 months ago. Painful, but in terms of cash flow it's water under the bridge at this point.

What has been developed to justify R&D, Sales and G&A expenses in terms of revenue generated?

Those are two different questions. (1) "in terms of revenue generated"...we all have access to the financials, and can see the results. (2) "What has been developed to justify" ..... well, the company that currently stands before us has been developed.

Is the loss margin improving or deteriorating?

Per the financials, Operating Income has improved for the past 3 quarters (don't shoot the messenger...you asked, and I don't feel like arguing about hard numbers). Net Income is all over the place due to the derivative liability that is falling to the P&L as various underlying instruments are settled. That is all 100% linked to the dilution that we saw last Winter.

Look, starting and growing a business is an imprecise, frustrating venture. I've done it multiple times. My advice to others that want to start a company is very consistent: "It's going to cost twice as much, and take twice as long, as you think." It's easy to cheer or criticize from the sideline, but the reality is (IMO) probably somewhere in the middle. Not as good as some want you to believe, and not as bad as others want.
