Haven't gotten that E-mail from them, but it is similar to the message I get when trying to buy a DTC chill stock.

My guess is he/she asked them why they were rejected. Especially with the wording 'opening transaction', sounds like you are trying to make your first purchase of that ticker, but you may already have shares from prior to the chill.

In case I forgot to mention it above, Always Just My Opinion
