I don't think anyone is happy about a R/S, but the company needs to effect it to progress. The alternative is to do nothing, and go delinquent, then dark. That hurts shareholders even more than a R/S, which at least offers the opportunity to dollar cost average their positions post split.

There are always three choices in trading:
- sell (realize a gain / loss)
- remain with the same holdings
- buy more (average down / up)
