Since they review unblinded the data, doesn't it mean that they compare the two arms?


They would compare side effect metrics, "adverse event" metrics, but they wouldn't create KM curves, determine HRs by endpoint, or p-values or confidence intervals.

Obviously some sense of efficacy could be derived from the safety looks. Just not a sophisticated sense of efficacy.
