Please, someone, I need an answer...

Was telling my friend today about Amfil (specifically GroZone) and he responded by telling me about a procedure that growers conduct in order to clean the air in a green house. He said they'll just use one duct for the air intake with a uv lamp in the duct to clean the air as it enters with another fan that keeps Old air flowing out.

Honestly, I know this is a stupid/naive question.. but can someone explain to me/him as to why the GroZone option is better, even for small time grow ops?
