PDF Files of court case? Ridiculous.
These type of suits are often threats to back off or proceedings will move forward. Once all parties are notified of the intent to prosecute many will simply cease the illegal action. A formal case will at that time be brought against the remainder of criminally negligent parties. Then there will be "PDF documents" LOL.
This 8k notification is a requirement of a publicly held company, considering anything that could have a possible affect on the stock has to be conveyed.
It really depends on how the law firm is addressing the case. Nothing will show record until all parties are notified and attorneys receive the individual answers so they know exactly what to file. Then formal paperwork will be filed according to state law. California court system is different than many other states so to find any proceeding you would need accurate information to search for any cases.
It is no secret that Mr. Yazbeck during the early years entrusted his company to some questionable individuals. Likely drawn in by the charismatic delusions of grandeur from the likes of Skip Sanzeri and his inexperience in business. It should be remembered that Mr. Yazbeck was a scientist not a businessman or investor before this venture. He learned the hard way as many do in business.
A little due diligence on Mr. Sanzeri will reveal he is no saint. I believe the shuffling of executive management within MYDX was due largely to individuals trying to "steal" this idea from Mr. Yazbeck.
The fact is, Mr. Yazbeck's ability to save this company from greed, mismanagement, his own naivety, toxic debt and all the other pitfalls of doing business is a solid testament to his resolve. Regardless of this lawsuit ever reaping any financial rewards, I think it is commendable that he is willing to fight for his and MYDX reputation. This will detour others from attempting fraudulent activities in the future.
Trust & Verify is pointless without accountability which obviously Mr. Yazbeck is willing to address as well.
