2) Dr. Missling did not submit new data to AAIC because of some sort of gag order, or partnership, or something else that prevented him from doing so. While this is possible, quiet periods do not usually last more than a quarter -- so I don't think this is the case

IMO, we/AVXL are tied up in the FDA planning/regulatory transition to the new trials protocol. We-or-they are not ready and AVXL (perhaps others also) cannot or will not break any trust by spilling the beans. If this scenario is true the tension must be high and is unsustainable. Something has to give soon, all IMO.
