That statement below:

"The national laboratory, after extensive review of the technology under non-disclosure agreement with the Company, has agreed to pursue DOE funding with the Company. "

Denotes much more involvement than a letter of support.

I would speculate that the Lab never had anything to do with NEAH before the Grant was awarded, heck they didn't, even after the grant was awarded.

Most likely D'Couto was bending the truth so he could hype the grant process and he did. I guess you did not read my post closely because I said at the beginning.

"Interestingly enough, I found a PATENT ( pun intended ) untruth in NEAH's hype about the DOE submission and Grant. "

The untruth being:

"The National Laboratory, after extensive review of the technology under non-disclosure agreement with the Company, has agreed to pursue DOE funding with the Company. "

The comments about a conflict of interest were to show that yes there would be one, and Argonne would not participate in such a violation of the process.

Do I think a National Lab would break the rules for a company like NEAH ? No. Do I think someone like D'Couto would lie to create hype ? Yes.

Talk about a lack of comprehension.
