If you have 1000 shares pre-split, then you don't have 11k shares after the split, you will have 10k shares after a 1-10 FS. There is no gain in general on a RS or FS. But here is something else at play according to others, they apparently guarantee 2.50 after the FS and that's the strange thing. Usually there is no free lunch out there.
