Rick, Mack, hoping they "tune up" the June Corporate presentation so we can get a better feel as to the commercialization timeline and expected revenues

As for now, focus on slides 9 to see that the largest expected revenue opportunities are being portrayed as the InP Hybrid Integration Platform being the largest bubble which I believe is based mainly on the Dielectric Photonics technology acquired from BB Photonics as seen on slide 8 and then its exceptionally low costing as seen on slide 15

The potential of the InP business with dl/bb may not have gotten its fair amount of air cover here.
It is my (somewhat educated) understanding the following are the approx costs for the Inp components vs thier current market selling price:
1. The cost for POET to produce the InP waveguides (which are to be launched later this year) is well under $1 per waveguide. The current market selling price is $20.
2. The projected cost for POET to produce a 100G transceiver is $300 where the existing cost (not selling price) to produce today is $1000.
Conclusion: There is absolutely no question to the disruptive power POET will cause in Inp markets. With waveguide samples starting to come off the line soon and 100G tranceiver next on the road map....it is just a matter of time POET becomes a major player in Photonics.
The economic advantage POET provides is too large to ignore.

and this...

mind blowing isn't it ?

And while POET develops and builds all components for the 100G transceiver, the Company has the opportunity to sell thoses individual components to other suppliers of optical transceivers, including receiver optical sub-assemblies (ROSA including detector), modulators, LAN WDM Multi-Channel Mux/De-Mux Devices and Single Chip LAN WDM Lasers. In others words engineers will discover and work with POET’s new integreted devices - test, optimize, mesure and finally qualify those devices.

In parallel we provide the sensing market with our new product “Sled sets” (Infrared Light sources for a variety of spectroscopy applications), engineering samples for the first Constellation Series Narrow Linewidth Laser (done, as of latest CP) for LIDAR and acoustic sensing markets, followed by Wavelength combiners for the sensing market and Bragg gratings for External Cavity Lasers.
