Mirrors are made with a reflective Metal placed under a pice of clear Glass,
For inductive charging and Strength the Metal needs to be Mirror finished BMG.
It follows Josh’s theory that the iPhone back will be LQMT/Glass regarding strength and GlassGate.

Apart from the iPhone Edition Glass sandwich, the ’s’ upgrades will also have inductive charging, so either they are also glass sandwiches, which makes no sense since it takes away from the exclusivity of the Edition Model, or more likely they will have BMG backs without the glass.

Either way it looks like all 3 iPhones will have some sort of BMG back covers.
