That's partially correct. But not Win10 professional home or other version. The only win10 OS that I know of that has even a remote chance at almost full control is win10 Enterprise, and even the IT pros I know say they can't stop or have full control of win10 updates.

Win10 is blurring the line between apple and windows. They're more a cross over than ever before. This isn't always a bad thing for us users however. It's just that MS wants windows to be hands off more like apple is.

It's all about money and market share.
