What benefit would go to Apple for their OK to get this deal done? There's only one - USE, but at the right cost. Otherwise, Apple is wasting money on patents and protecting the IP and trademarks because if it can't be made cheaply enough, Apple would have eventually thrown in the towel. I'm wondering if that's why Games had seen a lull because Apple was starting to put it on the back burner...the world may never know...

Despite Hauck's assertions to the contrary, cost WAS a factor, cost WAS a factor, cost WAS a factor. Maybe one day he'll repeatedly say that to himself and it will sink in for manufacture like the saying for real estate - location, location, location. Glad they cut the "bonus" structure because, for the rest of us schmucky shareholders that structured boned us.

Now I am understanding the opinion that "Hauck will have a use." Yes, his "use" is proving himself with the Engel machine and Materion alloy. I think he convinced himself of something that may not be there, which is, "for the right application, cost is not a factor." A) good luck finding the "right applications" - apparently, he hasn't found one yet and B) we ALL know cost is ALWAYS a factor.
