Thanks. I'm thinking I'll just use 2-3 of what will soon be a stable of 4 PC's. I just ordered 2 1070's from Dell for $760, and 2 1080 Ti's for 1190$ Great deals, if mining doesn't work out, I could sell a couple of them. Yes, power can be a problem in my old place. But if each computer is on a different circuit, it will be fine.

Also got a new, old 780 Ti Classified for $160 on CL and just put it in my 6700K build, will compare its bench test to my GTX 970, that is temporarily out. It should be a bit better.

Perhaps, I should have gotten another 1080 Ti to run three in one PC but that deal is now $66 higher, or maybe I could get two more 1070's.... GPU's don't have to match, as apparently SLI is not needed or wanted.

A new online friend who just started has found the 1080 Ti's work well throttled back about 30%..and cooler than his Fury X's on water, even. And the hash rate is better. Sounds like, for the price I lucked into for the 1070's, the price/performance should about match the Ti's.

I don't think either the new old 780 Ti or 970 would be as profitable. But they didn't cost much--well the 970 was $330 a year ago....

I have two Radeon Rx 470's coming, as part of the super deal Cyberpower was running on a new PC, and plan to sell them while they are commanding the inflated $280-380 prices. Which I hope hold for at least another week or two until that PC arrives.

I've been warned to avoid the mining specific boxes, due to their ;limited uses. However, a local guy is building mining frames that hold 6-8 GPU's....cheap at $77, plus the needed riser adaptors, plugs in, etc..his are aluminum and a lot better than one here, I imagine
