I agree, but you probably wouldn't be able to unload those 100 shares until it hit the 000s because of diminished liquidity.

Well if they did that. If you had 1million shares then you would only have 100, but the price of the stock would be $1.00/ share. Then it would usually start downward from there, but could possibly go up also (rare but it can happen).
