When I said very possible I meant if it starts too tank and you just keep riding it until your shares are worth very little if it hits rock bottom. With a r/s you will have less shares, but the value of each share is worth more. Ex: if you have 10000 shares @ .0001 and they do a 100:1 split; you would have 100 shares @ .01 afterward. Then it can go down or possibly go up after that. You do not lose everything like some are saying right off the bat. If it drops afterward and you ride too the bottom; then you lose a lot.
