Mack, I'm still a believer here, despite the lack of communication and despite some obvious operational setbacks, I still do not understand why the detector could not have been sold as a discreet product based on its price/performance metrics, it may not have been as high margin product as the AOC will be, but it could have contributed to capital needs of 2018

yes, I agree there is potential for POETF and LWLG to collaborate and I would guess that Dr Lebby and Dr Ring had discussions at PIC and at least batted that potential around on a cursory level, I think Rick has also commented on this potential collaboration

I am disappointed that the AOC has undergone such delay, I was hoping it would be first next-gen product to market, particularly as it has reach limitations, I know they intend to develop with InP for longer reach but that seems far off as of latest reporting, is that your take as well?

I think there is a lot of confusion because the focus has been widened out so much with the acquisitions of Denselight and BB Photonics, but I have to trust such seasoned management with knowing what they are doing in the grand scheme of things, excepting of course for their apparent lack of financing sensibilities
