Key highlights from BLDV 6/12/17 PR:

1. Blue Diamond has secured multiple opportunities to bring Medical Cannabis products and technology to North America.

- I think this part of the PR is trying to tell us that BLDV has set the stage and has the mechanisms in place to be able to sell products and technology to North America.

2. Israel has a Startup mentality and companies there understand the need to move quickly said Josh Alper CEO of BLDV, but realistically it is not simple to do business there, we have 40+ years experience with the politics and the culture of the area, combined with the scientific knowledge that is required

- The four bolded words in blue are key in this part. The first three are Josh and Jonathan and the fourth is Eltron Research. I think this part of the PR is trying to emphasize the challenges of operating in Israel, yet in #1 they mention that they have secured multiple opportunities, so I think they are trying to tell us they succeeded despite the challenges; i.e. they have the key success factors. Time will tell.

3. The tradition pharma industry hopes to change the approach to the medical cannabis industry by leveraging clinical trails preformed in Israel, but at the same time the Cannabis plant is changing the industry by achieving real success with less than pharmaceutical grade products.

- I find this part interesting in terms of how often they are mentioning the pharmaceutical industry. Also, notice how the effects of the Cannabis plant on the traditional industry is highlighted. I wonder if they are trying to tell us something about the caliber or size of partnerships they have secured that want in due to the fact that cannabis is changing the industry. Time will tell.

- Finally, remember that Josh told us in the last interview that Israel is the only country in the world that has clinical trials on humans for cannabis. I find it interesting that this is mentioned again in the PR.

4. We now have access to a range of genetics, protocols, devices, and technologies that can be licensed now to operators in Canada in partnership with AMS, and offered to Best in Breed operators in all 50 states continued Alper, in addition we have started talks with a group in Mexico City to leverage the new laws there.

- I think this part is loaded:

i) I think they are setting the stage to let us know the types of products and technologies they now have access to license to Canadian customers in partnership with AMS. Key here is the AMS JV; it's as if AMS is more significant than it seems. Remember that Josh mentioned in the last interview that building revenues is their goal, i.e. licensing revenues.

ii) Plus they mention that they can offer these products and technologies to operators in the U.S., notice how they mention states. I am guessing here that they are trying to indicate that regardless of state laws, the operators will/can need/buy these valuable products and technologies.

iii) Mexico City is something we have not heard about yet and I think it speaks strongly to the worldwide appeal and international growth of cannabis that we have been reading about in the DD. BLDV is going more international and it begs the question as to what BLDV has that would interest potential customers/partners even in Mexico. Also, I find it impressive as to how they stay on top of the changing legislative environment for cannabis in North America.

5. Blue Diamond will create a wholly owned subsidiary Blue Diamond Technologies LLC to focus on these opportunities, this unit will be based in Toronto, details of the new structure and specifics on the agreements from Israel will be released during the conference call.

- Key word here is technologies. I think this part is telling us that the technologies they now have access to are significant enough to require a subsidiary on their own. Also, the Toronto headquarters is interestingly close to AMS in Hannover, Ontario. Equally important and significant is that the details on the Israeli agreements will be released during the Conference Call.

Overall: I think this PR is following through in general on BLDV's efforts in Israel and sets the stage for future updates in regards to BLDV's integrated approach to cannabis. Notice how the parts above all fit together. To this end, remember the entire facility approach that Josh mentioned in the last interview.

I think people will realize that BLDV is not your traditional hyped up ticker with significant PRs that cause pps spikes. From the last interview, we know that Josh has a long-term view to build a solid corporation with long-term pps value growth. Therefore, I think this PR is setting the stage to continue to build the integrated approach to cannabis and to build value into BLDV with the pps eventually reflecting this value, not the other way around.

Go BLDV!
