2012 has nothing to do

With your claim that MFA was a Standard in 2001.

Please do not twist it around and now Claim 2012.

2001 was the premise of this debate and your Claim that MFA was a Standard in 2001.

As I Plainly showed by the FFEIC in 2006 , which you have been using as Your Argument that It's Regulations/Guidance Required MFA in 2001.

I showed you Proof that even in 2006 that the FFEIC did not Require MFA to be required in their "Guidance". Just more than a Single factor was Required. It's Highlighted in Red Below.

What does it take for you to Believe the Agency you keep Quoting as Saying MFA was a Standard/FFEIC Guidance in 2001.

Q5 - Does the guidance require the use of multifactor authentication?

A-5 No, the guidance does not call for the use of multifactor authentication. The use of multifactor authentication is one of several methods that can be used to mitigate risk as discussed in the guidance. However, the guidance identifies circumstances under which the Agencies would view the use of single-factor authentication as the only control mechanism as inadequate and conclude that additional risk mitigation is warranted.
