The said premise of "ask stacking" negates your point. Operationally, if we agree there is ask stacking, then the point there is folks are INTENTIONALLY loading on the bid at prices thought to be A GOOD BUY, by keeping the ask stacked.

So no, ask stackers don't turn into bid wackers. That makes no operational sense. IMO
