Positions are now open for Snakes & Lattes Midtown, located in Toronto's bustling Yonge & Eglinton corridor, and anticipated to be our busiest location to date.

We are looking for front of house shift supervisors with a strong service background, proven leadership experience, a desire to support an entire team - all while offering excellent customer service.

At Snakes & Lattes, the shift supervisor is the leader of frontline floor service. The supervisor is responsible for upholding day to day operations standards, management of labour through deployment and feedback, and dedication to providing positive guest experiences.

The shift supervisor is a supportive team member that steps in and offers the help when needed to staff and to guests, and ensures that the Snakes & Lattes experience is memorable as soon as guests step in the door. Supervisors act as model employees for customer engagement and professionalism in all areas.

Shift Supervisor Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in the service industry
Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership role within the service industry
Valid Smart Serve certification
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Professional appearance and manners
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
Able to work well under pressure
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards
Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
Computer literate
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer, iPads, and peripherals
Ability to work evenings, and weekends
High stress, fast-paced environment
Exposure to extremely hot and extremely cold liquids
Ability to lift up to 75lbs (34kg) as required (Individuals with a documented preexisting medical condition to have their maximum weight lifting measurement to be determined on a case by case basis)
