That you're talking about "making a killing" shows how naive you are. Buffett hopes for about 12%-15% a year appreciation, plus divs, plus what his considerable low cost leverage benefits him. Few pros can even top the S&P 500, as we know.
No one on IHUB makes a killing. These players are just hoping to buy a nicer pickup or a bigger bass boat. Over the years I've determined who many IHUBers are (some use their real names) and virtually all are lower middle class blue collar worker types. Or some have serious gambling addictions.
There have been some lawsuits against penny stock bb posters over the decades and their usual defense is they are naive and pennyless.
