Snakes has been in business for 7+ years and it's more busy now than ever. This is not a fad... They keep expanding both locations and they still can't stuff in enough seating, hence building the next one 10,000 sq ft... and it will likely be packed as well

Board games have also been growing every year for the past decade+.... and Imo it makes sense, because people are looking for more things to do to get away from their antisocial digital world... and bars/cafes always attract business. Even during slow economic times, people need their fix. Snakes is a relatively inexpensive way to have an entertaining/social night out with friends and family, while eating/drinking.

People often assume that millennial's are their main customer base, but that is false. Snakes attracts groups of seniors, parents with children, they get the geek's along with the ones that rarely ever play, but like to drink/hang out... board games are not just popular within any single group and you can't even compare these new involving games to the simple ones that we had as children... and a games popularity can span many decades, whereas most video games lose popularity in less than one year

The board game cafe concept has not even begun to saturate any part of this world... and as they expand, people will experience it for the first time and will grow the market even more imo, especially with the game gurus introducing new and exciting titles to people, that they might've never chosen on their own.

We are at the early stages of this new red hot sector... even my parents just started a boardgame group with a bunch of their friends. They play every week now... if they had a place like snakes to go to, instead of each other's house, I bet they would.
