The case update explained....

The case is sitting in a revolving process (kind of like the stock)

The lack of jurisdiction and venue Otiko's lawyers filed for means where the case is taken place, the court (being the judge, jurors, lawyers) do not know enough power to act on a decision at that location.

This particularly means that Otiko feels like wherever Keogh decided to file the suit against him is an unfair advantage to Keogh and the case is also in the wrong court. Keogh filed this in criminal court and not claims court which are extremely different. The filing in criminal court is very harsh because Keogh believes Otiko knowingly stole the patents, licensed information to gain capital. Claims court does not need a jury and can be decided by a judge.

Unfortunately, when Otiko filed the lack of jurisdiction and venue it also could have adverse effects on the case and make the case stick around longer because further evidence and arguments on why the case should be dismissed must be presented based on said arguments. Hopefully this doesn't happen but it could extend the process of the case and the case could just be relocated to another location which prolongs the entire process.

Hope this helps....
